The interviewing of victims and witnesses is central to the success of any investigation. The actual obtaining of such evidence is a challenging task for investigators. It is now recognised that planning and preparation are key stages in this process. Witnesses come from diverse backgrounds and have varying levels of understanding of investigative processes. Achieving high standards in obtaining statements will drastically improve the professionalism of any investigation.
Sancus Solutions are hosting two modular one day courses to enable delegates to enhance their witness interviewing skills. The courses can each be taken as individual instances or can be booked together.
The courses will be held at Cotton Court in Preston City Centre. Module one takes place on Thursday 24th May 2012 and module two on Tuesday 19th June 2012.
We know things are tough out there so we have priced each module at a bargain £95 plus vat. If you book both at the same time you will receive a 10% discount making the cost £171 plus vat. A link to the booking form is below.

Graham specialises in in explaining the methods of interviewing to non-police audiences and has presented courses to many organisations including Lancashire Fire and rescue service investigators, the Regional Asset Recovery Team. He has presented a paper on Advanced Investigative Interviewing to British Psychological Society Annual Conference
What will I get out of it?
At the conclusion of the module delegates will be able to carry out structured interviews with all classes and categories of witnesses and maximise the opportunity for obtaining evidence.
